Social intervention in the Women's Justice Center, in the specific case of delinquent food debtors, experience from practice

Abstract

The increase of family breakups and the vulnerability of rights makes the Attorney General's Office of the State of Mexico through the Center of Justice for Women (CJM) and the program of delinquent food debtors is responsible for advising the victim and give social legal follow-up to who has responsibility with the child, to comply with child support; social work one of the disciplines that follow up this legal process, must have specific knowledge and skills; in this document are exhibited through systematization report. The objective is to reflect on the individualized and family methodological application in the right to food by critically analyzing the knowledge, processes, techniques and tools articulated in the professional practices in the CJM and the Curriculum Plan. Based on systematization of the experience, of documentary, descriptive type, whose axis is the individualized and family intervention, rescuing intervention and information gathering techniques, and instruments of such methodologies. Results: the professional practice is recognized in the restructured curricular plan called F19, in a current problematic in an institutional framework, the exposed practice provokes a professional dialogue, the formative processes and the social demands; it reflects expectations, concerns and challenges in the application of the law, the areas of intervention and the vulnerable subjects. Conclusions: this experience with delinquent food debtors and their legal compliance is a current and complex issue; it requires professional specificity; multidiscipline supports professional training and responds to the social demands of the most vulnerable sector.
